Highveld Pack specs

Highveld Pack specs list the site checks, vinyl choice and file details needed before print for inland shopfront work. Use them to match artwork scale, substrate condition and fitting method to the actual store face.

Inland install checks and materials

Highveld Pack specs sets out the practical checks for inland installs, including dusty substrates, heat, and sun-hit faces. Use it to confirm the vinyl and application plan match the actual site conditions.

Record the surface first, whether it is glass, ACM, painted masonry or an existing panel skin. Highveld conditions matter here: dry dust on frames, hard afternoon sun on west-facing fronts, and heat build-up behind glazing can all affect bond and finish. Note the town, exposure and fitting window so the vinyl and laminate suit the site, not just the artwork.

A clear photo set helps when checking corners, joints, silicone lines and old adhesive left on the face. Include one straight-on view and one close-up of any chipped paint or rough area, because those spots often decide whether standard application is suitable. Keep the spec sheet with the job card so workshop, print and fitment teams are using the same measurements.

Inland fitment checks included

The page captures panel sizes, bleed, cut method, colour intent and whether the job needs reverse application to glass. It should also name the finish, such as gloss or matt laminate, and any reading-distance concerns for pricing strips, operating hours or smaller marks. That gives the pack a usable print brief instead of a loose list of artwork files.

Match Highveld Pack specs with the related shopfront drawing and mark list before adding extra items to the run. Check final dimensions, installation face and packing sequence again before the run is released. A measured frontage elevation is more useful than a cropped artwork preview.

Highveld conditions that affect fitment

Johannesburg and Gauteng installs often deal with dusty verges, older retail paint systems and strong UV on open forecourts. Those conditions can change cleaning prep, edge sealing needs and the choice between a short-term promo vinyl and a longer-life branded face. Measure around burglar bars, service ducts and uneven plaster instead of assuming a flat, square frontage.

Inland air is drier than the coast, but dirt load on shopfronts can be heavier near taxi routes and busy roads. Heat on dark substrates may show trapped contamination faster, especially on large solid colour areas. Plan installation for a stable part of the trading day when the glass and panel face are not at peak temperature.

Highveld Pack file and fit notes

Use Highveld Pack for inland store graphics that need sharp colour, readable marks and clean application on everyday shopfront surfaces.

Save this spec with the artwork record, measurements and approval trail for the pack. It helps when checking that logos, trading-hour decals and window messages were sized for the intended viewing distance. If a panel is being replaced into an existing set, note that clearly so colour and height alignment can be checked against the current shopfront.
