Banner Set specs
Setup notes and briefing numbers for Banner Set.
Banner sizes and fixing points
Banner Set specs lists the measurements, material notes, and artwork details needed before print and packing. Use it to confirm what the shop needs before the banner order moves onto the job card.
List the finished width and drop for each banner in the set before artwork starts. Include whether the pack uses eyelets, pole pockets, ropes, or sleeve sections, as these details change both print allowance and packing. For outdoor use, note wind exposure and whether the banner hangs flat against a wall or over an open frontage.
Material notes must state the stock required for the job card, such as PVC banner, blockout, or mesh. Add hem detail, eyelet spacing, and any welded edges so the workshop can check strength before dispatch. Note the mounting height to flag access limits and ladder clearance.
Artwork details before print
Supply banner art at final size or at a stated scale with all fonts outlined. Photos, logos, and brand marks need enough resolution for the full panel size, especially on wide shopfront runs. Leave safe spacing from hems and eyelets so no pricing, phone number, or logo edge lands in a fold or fixing point.
Record quantities by size, branch, and message version when a set covers more than one store. If the job comes through the contact form, say it is a banner set and mention whether the pack includes repeat prints, replacement units, or a once-off promotion. Check packing notes as well, because rolled banners, folded banners, and hardware bundles move differently with courier freight.

Checks for South African conditions
Sun exposure matters when the banner faces west or hangs outside an uncovered entrance. Coastal installations around Durban and Cape Town may need notes on corrosion at eyelets and fixings, while inland dust can affect how clean the mounting area is on fitment day. Where older centres have existing hooks or rails, measure those first instead of estimating from an old print.
Power cuts can interrupt print runs and heat welding, so the spec sheet should show which items are priority pieces for the queue. If a branch trades in a windy forecourt or taxi-facing strip, note that movement and visibility are part of the placement check. Packed length also matters for courier handling when long poles or assembled hardware are included.

What to note on the spec sheet
Write down the branch name, banner purpose, mounting method, and any previous failure on site. Mention if this is a launch banner, a price campaign, or a replacement for a torn panel.
Keep the spec page with the job card, artwork file, and packing instruction for the full set. That record helps when stores order a matching rerun, swap one size, or ask for the same message across several shopfront locations.
